THE VENUE DECISION EDIT
You know you want a European wedding. The venue decision is the one that everything else is built on; the guest experience, the design, the logistics, the budget reality. It is also the decision most couples make with the least amount of information, from the furthest distance, under the most time pressure.
This engagement exists to change that.
You bring me your vision and your numbers. I do the work on the ground. What you receive is a clear, professional recommendation, made by someone who has physically stood in the space, walked the flow, asked the questions that don't appear on any enquiry form, and assessed whether this venue can actually deliver the weekend you are imagining.
There are two ways to work with me on this;

For the bride who knows she wants Europe, but hasn't yet decided where.
You have a vision. You have a budget. What you don't have is the time, the access, or the professional framework to translate those into the right venue across an entire continent.
We begin with a structured remote research phase. You share your vision, your guest profile, your non-negotiables, and your budget reality. I build a written shortlist of up to five venues that genuinely fit - not just aesthetically, but logistically, culturally, and financially. Each entry includes a preliminary assessment of restrictions, true cost, Plan B quality, and fit against your brief. Together we identify the one or two venues that warrant an in-person visit.
I then travel to assess them in person. One trip, within a single country or region, up to two venues assessed. I look at flow, how spaces connect, what the property feels like in the right season, where the problems are, and whether the weekend you are envisioning is actually possible here. A detailed written recommendation follows within five working days of the visit.
From €2,500. Travel and accommodation within Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Poland, and the UK is included. For shortlists requiring travel outside these countries, or across multiple countries in a single engagement, a distance supplement is confirmed before any commitment is made.

For the bride who has found a venue, and needs to know it is the right one before she signs.
You have done the research. You have a venue you love. You are being asked to place a significant deposit from thousands of miles away, on a property you know from photographs and a venue manager's sales call.
Before money leaves your account, I visit the property in person. I assess everything a venue tour does not cover - how the spaces connect, how the flow works for your specific guest count, what the restrictions will actually cost you, whether the Plan B is credible, and whether this property can hold the celebration you are imagining. You receive a clear written assessment and a professional recommendation within five working days of the visit.
From €1,500. Travel and accommodation within Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Poland, and the UK is included. For venues outside these countries, a distance supplement is confirmed at the time of booking.
If you move into full planning with Derin Klos, the fee from either track is credited in full toward your planning package. This work does not sit separately from your wedding, it becomes the foundation of it.
